Robert Storr, Dean of the Yale
University School of Art and Professor of painting and printmaking;
Consulting Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the
Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Director of the 2007 Venice
Biennale. Storr was Senior Curator at MoMA, and the first
Rosalie Solow Professor of Modern Art at the Institute of Fine Arts,
NYU. A contributing editor at Art in America, he is the
author of numerous catalogues, articles, and books, including the
forthcoming Intimate Geometries: The Work and Life of Louise
Bourgeois. He has received the Lawrence A. Fleischman
Award for Scholarly Excellence in the Field of American Art History
from the Smithsonian Institution, and been named Chevalier des Arts
et des Lettres by the French Government. |
