Professors
Larry Eaker and Fred Einbinder served as
judges in the French national rounds held
in Paris February 17 and 18 of the 53rd
annual Jessup International Moot Court
Competition. The competitors represented
most of the top law schools in France.
Masters in International Law and Policy
students, Cornelia Van Tonder and Alex
Phuong, participated as bailiffs. |

Larry Eaker is an international lawyer
admitted to practice in Florida and Washington, D.C.. In
France, Mr. Eaker has served as a legal consultant to the
OECD on international environmental law matters and
associated with various French law firms on international
law cases.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities at AUP, Mr.
Eaker currently serves as the Academic Director of the
prestigious French graduate school ESSEC’s Master of Science
in International Business Law and Management degree program.
His teaching areas include public international law and
international business law subjects.
Mr. Eaker received his Juris Doctor from the University of
Florida, Master of Laws from the University of Miami, and
Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic
University. He has also studied international law at Oxford
University. He has published in the fields of public and
private international law. |
