Diane Hamilton’s paper “Quality in Business Education as Measured by Accreditation and Ranking Systems,” was presented at the annual Academy of Management conference, in August 2009, by former AUP colleague and co-author, Harry Costin.  This work was also published in a special issue of the International Journal of Management in Education (2009, Vol. 3., Nos. 3/4, pgs. 249-269).

Dr. Hamilton joined the Department of International Business Administration on October 1, 2008. Her goals for the department are to work with the department faculty to: (1) develop a comprehensive assurance of learning program; (2) update the undergraduate major; and (3) more effectively integrate business with the other divisions within AUP. She comes to AUP from Rowan University, where she was a faculty member for 25 years. During her tenure at Rowan she served as Chair of the Department of Management & MIS, Associate Dean of the Rohrer College of Business, and Faculty Director for AACSB and ABET Accreditations, and Faculty Chair for Assurance of Learning. She has been making presentations regarding accreditation and assessment at AACSB conferences since 2001, and has delivered several pre-conference workshops on the same topics at ACM-related conferences.
