* Although
it’s possible for students to complete all of the
requirements within one calendar year, the bulk of all
students thus far have elected to register for only two
courses in the summer, registering the internship or
thesis in the following fall (2013) semester.
IMPORTANT for
students with US federal loans: US Federal
Code of Regulations does not permit American students
registered at a foreign institution to qualify for
federal loans during periods where the student intends
to be physically present in the US. Thus, such
students should not plan to conduct their internship or
thesis in the US if they wish to maintain federal loan
eligibility. In addition, students must be registered at
least half-time and be making reasonable progress
towards a degree in order to qualify for loans or a loan
deferment. Therefore, students who request a thesis or
Internship extension do NOT qualify for loans beyond the
semester in which they are officially registered.
Please also
bear in mind that tuition covers either three or four
courses per semester. Students are considered part-time
with a courseload of 11 credits or less. Part-time
tuition for 2012-13 is 784 euros per credit and is
determined on a per-credit basis. |
