Tuition and Costs for
the Master of Arts in Middle East and Islamic Studies

The
Master of Arts in Middle East and Islamic Studies program is a
two semester program of 32 credits that can be completed in one
calendar year. The program is composed of seven core courses (28
credits). The final four credits for the completion of the
degree are obtained by writing a thesis.

The
Master of Arts in Middle East and Islamic Studies (with
language) program is a four semester program comprised of 64
credits that is completed in two calendar years. The program is
composed of ten core courses (40 credits), intensive language
courses (16 credits), and the remaining eight credits are
obtained by writing a thesis over the remaining two semesters.

Tuition and fees:
Tuition and fees reflect
the 2012-2013 levels. Fees for the 2013-2014 academic year
(which take effect in Fall 2013) will be published during Spring
2013. All tuition and fees must be paid in Euros.
2 The health insurance fee is paid once a year during the
students first semester and will cover the student for the
year.

A one-or two-month security deposit is required and may be
returned at the end of the year.
