As a child I moved often between Colorado and California, ending up in a Jesuit high school in California, which is where I began my international travel adventures to other countries. I spent one month with a South American family, learning about the people of a small farm town which was an experience that opened my eyes to the hospitality and genuine goodness that can be found in humanity. I also learned that I am an extremely malleable and adaptable person. Since high school I have traveled extensively across Europe and South America. I speak English, French, Spanish and a little bit of Portuguese, Italian, and German. I have a knack for learning languages.

How would I describe the AUP classroom experience? Diverse in every aspect. At AUP there were many fascinating people to meet and many new ideas to discover. I don't think I could have fit in at a university any less diverse! AUP does not have a centralized campus, but the location in the heart of Paris was very convenient. My favorite neighborhood was around the Parc des Buttes Chaumont in the 19th arrondissement. I loved Paris because it is a city where there is something for everyone.

AUP gave me the great opportunity to participate in the White Mask Theater Club and to lead an excellent group of students as Managing Editor of Keystone, the university's business magazine. While at AUP I was also very lucky to find an internship working for the international marketing consulting firm Cosight, where I learned effective presentation and communication skills that would greatly serve me later on in my career.

Since graduating, I have had the honor of working in Boston at The Bellwether Group, Inc., a strategy consulting firm. I am currently working as a sales consultant for Avnet, selling electronic components to French-speaking clients around the world, including Quebec. I also just earned my real estate license in the state of Massachusetts and am employed by Century21 Adams Real Estate.

My professional life has been positively influenced by my studies at AUP. Its international environment has shaped my career in more exciting and unique ways than any other university's could have. I am more perceptive to the differences between cultures and how these differences have been shaped by our varied backgrounds. I believe that AUP can become an international educational crossroads and a forum for creativity and sharing. It has the potential to become the finest university in the world, providing top-class education to some of the smartest individuals on our planet.
