Blackboard is the popular course software used by many AUP professors to make their course information available on the Web. Access to Blackboard course sites is another good reason for checking your student e-mail frequently. Your NetID and password will also serve as your login to Blackboard.

You can access Blackboard from home or campus computers. If you miss a class due to illness, or forget an assignment, Blackboard is always available via Internet. Course syllabi, bibliographies, Web resources, assignments and faculty office hours are posted on Blackboard course sites. Blackboard chat and discussion groups are also helpful, and often required for class participation. The Blackboard Digital Drop is a great way to submit topics, drafts, and essays to your professor.
