Registration

 

The Registration Desk is located at the Entrance Hall of the Maison de la Chimie.

It will be opened during the following hours:

 

Thursday 27 October 2005: 13.00 – 19.00

Friday 28 October 2005 08.00 – 19.00

Saturday 29 October 2005: 08.00 – 18.00

 

 

Participants Identification

 

All participants are required to wear their name badges at all times. They provide access to the Conference Venue, the Business Center and for some participants to coffee breaks, lunches and cocktails.

 

 

Business Center

 

A Computer Room located on the second floor (Hewlett Packard Room, 2nd floor) will be available throughout the conference.

 

 

Coffee Breaks And Lunches

 

Coffee breaks and lunches will be served in Room 8 on the Ground Floor.

 

 

Public Transportation Tickets

 

Métro and RER tickets are sold individually, or more economically in a carnet of ten pull-off purple tickets. Being here for a few days, you should probably buy a “carnet” or a weekly pass. These tickets allow you on metros, RER or buses.

Single ticket: 1,40 euros

Carnet of 10 tickets: 10,70 euros

Weekly pass: 15,70 euros

 

 

Subway Transportation System in Paris

 

The subway transportation system consists of “Metro” and “RER”, both pass through the same stations and use the same tickets.

Metro lines are signed with numbers and RER lines are signed with letters.

The direction of a metro or RER line is signed using the name of the last station in that direction.

The public transportation system stops each night around 12:30
