Make keywords as specific as possible: "environmental economics" gets more relevant results than economics.

By default, the search engine only returns pages that include all of your search terms. There is no need to include "and" between terms.

Searches are NOT case sensitive.

The search engine ignores common words and characters such as "where", "at", or "and".  If a common word is essential to getting the results you want, you can include it by putting quotation marks around two or more words.  For example, if you are looking for the paper entitled Mortality Risks and Child Labor, enter "mortality risks and child labor" in the search box.

Search for complete phrases by enclosing them in quotation marks. Words enclosed in double quotes ("like this") will appear together in all results exactly as you have entered them. Phrase searches are especially useful when searching for paper titles or proper names.
