The International Business
Administration program introduces students to
organizational behavior, economic theory and
quantitative methods, as well as the basic
functional areas of business: finance, law,
marketing, operations management, and human
resources management. Students are required to
learn fundamental accounting, statistics, and
computer applications necessary for the solution
of business problems.
The senior year of the
program consolidates students’ earlier study by
focusing upon general management and corporate
strategy through the Business Policy class. It
uses case studies as a vehicle for the
identification of business problems and the
formulation of appropriate courses of action for
their solution.
The theoretical knowledge
and the wide variety of practical skills
acquired in gaining their BA degree from
The American University of Paris prepare graduates in
International Business Administration for
responsible positions in the modern business
world and, if they so choose, entry into
graduate school. |
