Visiting students must send proof of on-line payment, or the full amount of tuition (of which €350 per session is non-refundable), the orientation fee, and non-refundable application fee with their application. Payment must be successfully processed by the AUP Bursar in order for the Registrar to confirm course selection.

Prior to Summer cancellation deadlines, AUP students are allowed to register for Sessions and/or Fast Tracks by paying a non-refundable registration deposit of €350 per session, applicable to summer tuition only, to reserve their course(s).

Full payment of Summer tuition must be made by the cancellation deadlines in order for students to maintain their registration.

Students who have not paid the balance of their summer tuition by the cancellation deadlines, will forfeit their registration deposit of 350, and they will be dropped from the courses for which they have registered.

Students who have not paid the balance of their summer tuition by the cancellation deadlines, will forfeit their registration deposit of €350, and they will be dropped from the courses for which they have registered.

Students whose registration has been dropped may re-register, on a space-available basis by:

(1) paying the full amount of tuition owed, to which the Bursar will apply their previously paid registration deposit of €350,

(2) and completing the necessary paperwork at the Registrar’s Office.

During the AUP Summer Term, the federal Stafford and PLUS loans may be available to U.S. citizens or holders of U.S. green cards through their home institutions in the United States. Non degree-seeking students are not eligible to apply for loans directly through AUP. If you are applying for a student loan, we must receive notification from the bank or lending institution that the loan is guaranteed before being able to process your application. The general practice is to set up an official Consortium Agreement with AUP and your home school. Please contact the financial aid office of your home school for more details.

AUP Summer Merit Scholarships

In keeping with our mission to educate students from all over the world, AUP offers a university-funded scholarship that is awarded on the basis of a student’s academic strength. Visitors who are enrolled as full-time, degree-seeking, undergraduate students, who are in good standing at their home institutions, who are not part of an AUP partnership program, and who have a cumulative university GPA of at least 3.5, may benefit from a 10% discount on their summer tuition. All other costs and fees pertaining to AUP Summer Programs remain the same. Students must formally request the AUP Summer Merit Scholarship by letter that should be submitted at the same time as their completed AUP Summer application. Scholarships will not be awarded retroactively. Auditors may not apply.
