We in the Office of Academic Affairs support the
entire academic endeavor of The American University
of Paris, concerning ourselves daily with the needs
of students and faculty, both the administration and
innovation of the curriculum, and matters as small
as substitution waivers and as monumental as our
ten-year accreditation renewal. Virtually all of the
academic functions of the University fall within our
purview.
It is our mission to serve the academic community of
AUP by providing support to essential and
forward-looking academic activities; by helping
faculty carry out the functions of teaching,
research and governance; and by monitoring aspects
of academic life, such as assessment, student
learning, curricular review, and reporting.
