French law requires that all renters have housing
insurance.
All students are automatically charged for the
standard one room apartment insurance.
If you obtain housing through the University, you are required to take
AUP housing insurance. Students who find their housing independently may
choose to find their own insurance.
If you maintain AUP housing insurance, you are
required to have the type of insurance that corresponds to your
apartment style. As the standard charge is for one room housing, you
will be required to upgrade if you have a bigger apartment.
To request adjustments to your housing insurance,
please click here. You will only be allowed to request housing insurance
adjustments once and this only up until the end of drop/add. Any further
adjustments must be made with Student Accounting Services directly.
Please note that all adjustments (cancelling or
upgrading) must be renewed on a semester basis in order to have your
invoice modified.
Housing insurance rates are as
follow:
One room: |
40 euro |
Two rooms: |
56 euro |
Three rooms: |
68 euro |
Four rooms: |
80 euro |
