DISCRETIONARY
EXPENSES
Students' personal expenses, (the movies, a Café or Bistro,
nightclub, laundry, etc) of course will vary, but we suggest
budgeting an additional €200 - 250 per month for these extras.
NOTES
1 Tuition and fees:
Tuition and fees reflect 2008-2009 levels. Fees for the
2009-2010 academic year will be set during spring 2009.
All tuition and fees must be paid in Euros. Complete details
will be sent with the first invoice.
Tuition covers five courses per semester. Credits taken beyond
the five courses will be charged at the part-time tuition rate.
Part-time tuition 2008-2009 is €770 per credit. The audit fee is
€385 per credit.
The university provides a program of
scholarships and student loans to students of all
nationalities. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of both a
student's financial circumstance and academic qualifications.
Please contact your Admissions Counselor for information about
how to apply for student loans and whether you are eligible for
an academic scholarship. Children of AUP alumni automatically
receive the Alumni Legacy Scholarship.
2 Basic
living expenses are calculated for the
Independent Room option
on the lower rent scale, including an additional one-month
refundable security deposit, plus monthly expenses: utilities,
phone, Métro, and groceries/meals at home.
3 This
is an approximate amount per month for a cell phone.
