All Freshmen and Transfer students must take the French test. Visiting students planning to take French must take this test as well. French is also a graduation requirement for AUP.

 

Even though you speak no French at all, Freshmen and Transfer students must still attend the testing session and simply register.

 
 
Please Note that only students who have a French Baccalauréat are exempt from this test.
 
 
 
 
 

All Freshmen and Transfer students who have not been pre-placed into an English course must take the English Placement Test.
 
 
 
 

All Freshmen and Transfer students must take the Math test. Visiting students planning to take Math must take this test as well.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

During Orientation, all students must take several placement tests.

 

 

 

Placement test results are not used to give you a grade. Rather, they are evaluations that assist you and the University to enroll you in the correct level of classes. For example, were you to enroll in a class for which your French level is insufficient, you risk failing that class.

 

Placement test results provide information that is helpful to you and to the University.
