AUP offers students from all over the world a unique
educational experience and one that is, like all
private education, expensive to produce. Exploration
of cultural differences and diversity, comparison of
traditions of knowledge, and engaged discussion and
debate require small class sizes and a low
teacher/student ratio. Cross-cultural communications
require state-of-the-art technology, smart classrooms,
and new means of archiving and organizing information.
International education thrives on regular curricular
renewal and pedagogical innovation, including the
creation of dynamic new programs. |

A major gift to AUP is a contribution of €10,000 or
greater, and it can take one of several forms.
Unrestricted major gifts may be made to the Annual
Fund to be spread over a range of fundraising goals in
a given year. Restricted major gifts are targeted to
specific programs, building projects, and faculty and
student support. Mimi Fairman, Director of Development, works closely
with major gift donors to find the right match between
University projects and programs, and donors’ personal
interests. |
