When and where is the AUP graduation ceremony?

This year’s Graduation will be on Thursday, May 22, 2008. The ceremony will be held at the Théâtre Marigny, at the Rond Point des Champs Elysées, Paris VIIIe. Seniors must arrive at the theater at 8:45 sharp in order to line up! This is imperative. The ceremony will begin at 10 o’clock. Guests will be admitted at 9:30.

What do I need to do to get all my graduation materials?

You need to present your ID in the Bookstore. They will check you off on a roster and give you all that you need. Caps, gowns, 10 announcements and 2 tickets to the ceremony are free and can be picked up starting April 21st during regular bookstore hours.

What about extra tickets for the graduation ceremony?

Up to two additional tickets can be purchased for 35€ each at the bookstore beginning April 21st.  Then, as of April 28th, another two additional tickets may be purchased for 35 euros on a first come, first served basis. Seating at the Théâtre Marigny is very limited this year, so to avoid negative surprises, get your tickets advance.

How long is the commencement ceremony?

The commencement ceremony will last approximately two and a half hours and is followed by a reception in the lobby of the theatre.
