York Division of Palgrave Macmillan in
late 2008. Narrating Class will
be part of the series, "American
Literature Readings in the Twenty-First

Jérôme
Game has been invited by the Centre
d'Etudes Poétiques of the Ecole Normale
Supérieure - Lettres & Sciences Humaines
in Lyon to give a research paper on 27
February. Professor Game's presentation is
entitled "Ecrire under the influence : la
littérature contemporaine en condition des
arts visuels, sonores et de performance".
On 18 March Jérôme Game and Anne-Marie
Picard-Drillien will receive AUP Professor
Alice Craven in their Transdisciplinary
Research Seminar in the
Arts/Philosophy/Psychoanalysis (title tbc).
On 28 March Professor Game will organize
and convene an international one-day
symposium at the Ecole Normale Supérieure
of Paris entitled 'L'Art de la Syntaxe' on
the interdisciplinary aesthetics involved
in a reproblematization of the issue of
'narrative'. Colleagues from various
institutions in France and Canada will
address that question by focusing on a
variety of practices, including:
literature, painting, cinema, video-art,
philosophy and music. |

Grandes a scholarship to attend the Second

Translation class, has translated the
"Roots & Shoots" environmental tips. These
tips are to be used to raise awareness of
environmental issues among students in
France. She has also agreed to serve as

the French chapter of the "Roots & Shoots"

Feb. 5, and by London-based MarketWatch on
Feb. 6, after participating in a radio
roundtable at French daily newspaper
Liberation’s ‘Super Tuesday, Super
Breakfast’. He did a television interview
with Danish broadcasting network, Denmarks
Radio (DR), on the leadership style of
Nicolas Sarkozy. On February 15-17, Yates
was invited to Berlin by the International
Institute for Economics and Politics, Haus
Rissen Hamburg, to prepare students coming
from all over Germany who will be
representing Gabon in the National Model
United Nations (NMUN) in New York. |
