University Assessment

The Office of Educational Assessment and Institutional Research (EAIR) actively encourages assessment-based execution of the University’s strategic plan with initiatives that both enable the continuous improvement of student learning and promote institutional effectiveness.

EAIR supports the analysis of the quality and variety of student learning experiences and the evaluation of the effectiveness of all academic and administrative processes of the institution.

It furthers an academic culture of assessment in which the unit of analysis is the student experience, program structure and content, pedagogical styles, faculty research, student services, university governance and communication – all of which clearly contribute to the achievement of meaningful, rigorous and individually adapted student learning outcomes.
