VISITING (CDD) FACULTY SUPPORT 

This page is designed to help onboard CDD faculty. It summarizes key information you have already received in an email send by Brenda Torney. 

 

Please note that this list is not exhaustive and that you must monitor your emails from Academic Affairs, the Registrars and your Department Chair. 

  • You will find the term start and end date and other useful dates on the AUP Academic Calendar.
  • You can see your courses and their schedules on your Faculty Portal.
  • For detailed information about the University’s policies and procedures, please read the Faculty Resources and Support brochure.
  • The ID card is needed to gain access to the buildings and is required to use the University Library.
  • To set up your Blackboard site, please submit a request here: https://my.aup.edu/academics/blackboard-course-request-form. If you need help with Blackboard or Teams please contact Brenda Torney at btorneyataup.edu
  • Should you need to check on the library collections before the start of the semester, please contact the University Librarian, Jorge Sosa (jsosaataup.edu), for an appointment to acquaint you with the facilities. 
  • You should have received a net ID from ITS, please contact our IT Services department at itservicesataup.edu if you have not received it.
  • Please contact the bookstore as soon as possible to ensure your books have arrived and to collect any desk copies requested (bookstoreataup.edu or 01.40.62.05.92). 
  • You can see your online faculty profile on our Faculty Directory. If you wish to add more information to your profile, please use the Faculty Profile Change Request Webform
  • Please submit your course syllabus on the due date. There is a template and instructions to submit the syllabus.
