AUP welcomes Prabda Yoon, Mui Poopoksakul & Tash Aw

Our first event of the semester is scheduled for 18h30 on Thurs 31 January in Grenelle G002, and it's going to be a particularly special one. Prabda Yoon, a hip young Thai film-maker, translator, film-maker, bookstore owner, etc. etc., who will present his second collection of stories in English, the recently published Moving Parts. He'll be joined by the book's Berlin-based translator, Mui Poopoksakul, whose MA at AUP became the first of the those two volumes, The Sad Thing Was, as well as acclaimed Malaysian author Tash Aw, who reviewed it for the Financial Times.

The event is open to the general public, so feel welcome to come with friends from the community provided they RSVP at <cwt@aup.edu> more than 24 hours in advance and bring a photo ID. It will be located in Grenelle-002
