Microsoft Stream is a video service where all AUP Community members can upload, view and share videos securely. You can share recordings of classes, meetings, presentations, training sessions, or any other video you see fit. This service, in the same way as YouTube, allows you to comment on a video, add time codes in comments and descriptions so as to refer to a specific section. It can be used to record a class from Teams, but also conferences and meetings with colleagues.
ON YOUR DESKTOP, FROM THE WEB
ON YOUR MOBILE, WITH THE APP
You may also use the Stream app, available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone 10 from their respective app stores.
Get started – Learn about trending videos and channels, how to use the navigation bar, invite your colleagues to see your videos or incite them to upload theirs.
Create content – Upload videos and modify their data (title, description, etc.) Add subtitles and set up permissions to decide who can see your content.
Trim a video – Edit your video so that you choose which passages to show your audience.
Share a video with your colleagues, students or classmates by email or sending them a link.
Manage privacy settings – Choose who can see your video.
Put a video in another Microsoft app – Insert your videos in Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint and Sway.
LinkedIn Learning is a very rich source of information with a series of videos led by professionals to guide you step by step. Access it with your AUP email address and see all the content they offer about Stream.
