Connecting with admitted students via #AUP4ME

At the beginning of February, the Admissions Office launched a social media initiative around the hashtag #AUP4ME in order to inspire admitted students to share their stories and to provide students with a way to connect via social media. Admitted students were encouraged to post photos that illustrate their excitement about joining AUP. The most innovative and creative photos are being shared on AUP's social media accounts and have a chance to win a pre-arrival care package.
Our incoming students were quick to adopt the hashtag and use it to showcase their acceptance package, to share their excitement, and to shed light on the story of their lives and how they ended up at AUP. Twitter and Instagram saw numerous posts and photos, especially during our Admitted Student Reception, a special event for admitted students hosted on the AUP campus, in April. Our admissions counselors in the U.S. will also use the hashtag while they travel to admitted student events all over the country.
We will continue to encourage our admitted students to share their excitement and their unique stories with us and the rest of the AUP community via social media and #AUP4ME. Make sure to take a look at some of the beautiful photos which our future students have posted on social media!
