Student Volunteers needed to keep BVSyria's mission going over the Summer!

June 8, 2016

Looking for a way to give back this Summer?

AUP’s student club Baytna à vous (Our home for you) is a student-led initiative focused on providing Syrian refugees with the help and support they need to settle into their new home
This summer, BVSyria will be hosting Kids Workshops for Syrian refugee children, and they are currently recruiting enthusiastic and devoted student volunteers.
The purpose of the workshops is to provide an informal setting that allows the children to socially integrate while the parents also find a common ground to interact with one another.

Since February the workshops have grown from three kids to twenty-three kids. The ages range from  4-13 years old, and activities include coloring, board games, learning new French vocabulary, music, dancing, reading, and general interaction with the kids.
Basic knowledge in Arabic and French is preferred but not mandatory to volunteer and help.
Volunteers must be available for at least two of the following dates:  June 18th, July 2nd, 16th, 30th & August 13th

To volunteer, please email Habiba Belguedj at bvsyria@aup.edu
