Michael Harris received an M.A. in International and Development Economics from Yale University and a B.S. in International Political Economy from Georgetown University. His main areas of focus consist of economic growth and development, wealth and income inequality, and political economy of the Middle East.

In addition to teaching Economics, Michael’s professional experiences include various roles with an employability-training NGO in Jordan, the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce, and the Monitoring & Evaluations team in the U.S. State Department’s Middle East Partnership Initiative.
