By completing specific courses at our partner institutions before transferring to AUP, students can be guaranteed the opportunity to earn their bachelor’s degree in Paris in as few as four additional semesters or two years. Guaranteed admission to The American University of Paris from Santa Monica College

If you meet the minimum criteria listed below, you are guaranteed admission to The American University of Paris. If you do not meet the requirements, you may still apply through the standard transfer application process.

  • You will receive IGETC certification by the time you transfer to AUP
  • You will have at least 45 UC/CSU transferable semester credits (equivalent 75 quarter units) at Santa Monica College by the time you transfer to AUP
  • Your cumulative UC/CSU grade point average (GPA) from Santa Monica College is equal or superior to 3.0 (“B”)
  • You are in good academic and disciplinary standing at Santa Monica College

After verifying that you meet the minimum requirements for guaranteed admission, please complete and submit the following information:

  1. Complete our short online application form  for undergraduate transfer students – articulation agreement.
