Flexliving Independent Apartments

PARTNER PROVIDER, AVAILABLE TO TRANSFER AND VISITING STUDENTS ONLY

The new options available exclusively to our transfer, visiting independent (non first-year) and visiting COOP students are 4-person apartments with two double rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room located in the 7th and 15th arrondissements of Paris. The openings in the three apartments available are within easy access to transportation to ease the commute to the university, and a standard price across all locations for a bed in a shared room within the apartment. 

THE AUP INSIDER TIP: 

These shared apartments allow students to still live with their AUP peers and find community in experiencing the transition to Paris together, while also being with students who have had previous college experiences that will undoubtedly inform their time at AUP. These apartments will be managed by the AUP housing office, in collaboration with our partners: your point of contact and resource will remain the AUP residential life staff.

Lowendal and Saint-Saens Apartments: Residents living in this area of Paris have the best of both worlds: not only will they live near the iconic Eiffel Tower, the beautiful Champ de Mars, and the famous Invalides, but they will also be a short walk of between 15-25 minutes to the AUP Campus, so the daily commute will be a picturesque one as they stroll down the grand avenues of Paris to their classes at AUP. With many restaurants, cafes, and bars on Avenue de la Motte Picquet, and the busy shopping street, Rue de Commerce, just a short walk away, residents will have everything at their fingertips in this neighborhood. This area evidently attracts lots of tourists, so if you enjoy living in a busy and touristic area, you might enjoy living in this neighborhood, but if you prefer somewhere quieter or more residential, one of our other locations might suit you better.

Please note: There are already full-year students housed in these apartments – assignments into specific locations will be made based on availability in each apartment, and as such the roommate survey cannot be used to decide roommate pairings. (Current availabilities are 1 bed for a female student in the Lowendal apartment and 2 beds for female students in the Saint-Saens apartment.)
