Anna Brooke (at AUP since January 2024) has been a Paris-based travel writer, copywriter and copy editor for twenty years. She has authored seven Paris/France guidebooks for Frommer’s and is the Paris travel expert for the UK’s bestselling Times and Sunday Times Travel. She has made bread for the Financial Times, eaten crickets in San Jose for the Times and walked through Paris’ sewers for Time Out. Over the last seven years, she has researched and written/edited copy for over eighty thousand hotels and restaurants around the world for an Internet maps giant. She has also worked in TV, translating documentaries for the Discovery Channel, and narrating the English version of the French heavy metal show, Metal XS. When not travel writing, she's a children's book author (agented @RCW).
