Daniel Medin
Cost: €550 (includes round-trip air transportation, hotel accommodations with breakfast,

For centuries, Vienna was the star at the center of Central Europe. By the time the Austro-Hungarian Empire disintegrated in 1918, it had also become a hotbed for the avant-garde. Explore the city’s rich cultural legacy, from Imperial palaces to fin de siècle cafés, from Old Masters to the world’s largest collections of Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt. In addition to visiting architectural, historical and literary landmarks, this trip devotes special attention to the city’s storied musical heritage, with visits to the homes of great composers and a concert at the Vienna Philharmonic or another prestigious classical music venue. This study trip has been designed to complement CL2059, but is open and accessible to anyone intent to discover the city
