What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is the AUP Learning Management System available for all courses. Blackboard courses are created automatically based on the current course offerings. Professors can manage class resources, post assignments/quizzes/discussions, calculate grades, hold online video chats, communicate with students, and much more. Blackboard is a web-based tool and can be accessed from any current browser on any platform. There is also a Blackboard mobile app available for iOS and Android.

A Note About the Blackboard Mobile App

The mobile app now works with Blackboard. If you decide to use it, you will be asked to find the name of your institution when you sign-in the first time. You will want to type in American University of Paris (without a "the" at the beginning).

Just remember, we're here to help!
