How to Apply: Study Abroad Partner

Our application process is simple and straightforward: submit your information, send us your supporting documents, and receive your admission decision within three weeks.


Partner school students

The American University of Paris has partnerships with universities in the United States, Egypt, and Norway. If you are currently studying at one of our partner schools, please see your study abroad office for deadlines and instructions on how to apply.

Non-partner school students

If you’re not enrolled in one of our partner schools, you can apply as an Independent Study Abroad student.


Application requirements—what you need to submit to us

If you’re applying to AUP through one of our partnership or cooperative agreement institutions, you should consult with your home institution for how to apply to AUP. The Study Abroad office will provide you with an approved link to the application form for your school. You will also be asked to submit a letter of approval from your study abroad coordinator, as well as your transcripts.


Application deadlines

Application deadlines for Study Abroad Partner students are determined by the home institution. You will need to respect the application deadlines set by your home institution.
