Accessibility & Accommodation Services

The American University of Paris is committed to providing equal access to our diverse student community to promote learning during their time at AUP. AUP provides academic support to students registered with Student Development and the Academic Resource Center (ARC).

Student Development and ARC work together as the campus unit designated to receive requests for accommodation, approve services, and coordinate support for students with disabilities to create equitable access to the University’s educational programs.  Our staff works with students and faculty to coordinate academic accommodations. We are dedicated to supporting students with disabilities to give them the opportunity to perform at their maximum academic potential. We strive to promote an inclusive environment for all students to experience integration into our diverse AUP community.

Student Development is located on the 4th floor of the Combes Student Life Center building. This office is the point of contact for any student seeking accommodations.

We encourage students, parents, and faculty interested in learning about our support services to read the information on these pages. If you have specific questions, we encourage you to cvernierataup.edu (contact our guidance counselors) or schedule an appointment.

If you are an AUP student, or a prospective student, and are experiencing an access barrier when reading these pages, please contact us by phone at +33 01 40 62 06 32, cvernierataup.edu (email us), or schedule an appointment to discuss it further.
