If you’re interested in a change and can imagine the benefits of completing your university degree here in Paris, then AUP invites you to apply as a transfer applicant. Transfer students bring rich experiences and backgrounds to our student body. We are looking for students who demonstrate an international curiosity and want to pursue their academic interests in a more global context, integrated with the experience of living abroad.
AUP enrolls transfer students in both the January (spring) and September (fall) semesters. You are eligible to apply as a transfer student if you are a high school graduate (or equivalent) and have completed at least one semester (12 credits) at another college or university.
When admitted, we will conduct an evaluation of your prior coursework to determine how many of your credits will transfer toward AUP graduation requirements. Transfer students may bring to the University as many as 64 semester credits earned from another college or university; up to one-half the number of credits required to graduate from The American University of Paris.
Find out how to apply and then apply today using the online undergraduate transfer application.
The American University of Paris offers guaranteed transfer admission to students from a number of partner colleges and universities who meet the required academic criteria. Please bear in mind that due to federal regulations, students looking to finance their education through loans will only be eligible for private loans, and not for federal Stafford and PLUS loans. To find out more about how you can receive a guaranteed transfer offer through one of the colleges below, take a look at our partner universities page.
If you attend another college or university, we still encourage you to apply for transfer using the regular undergraduate transfer application. You will be eligible to transfer up to sixty-four semester credits to AUP, should you be admitted.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to being in touch with you!
