A Discussion on the Black Vote and the U.S. Election

This Black and Abroad event, co-sponsored by President Schenck and the BLM faculty group, invites AUP students, staff, and faculty to discuss the importance and struggles of Black voters and the upcoming U.S. election with Professor Nita Wiggins. Professor Wiggins is an award-winning American television journalist, journalism professor at  L’Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme de Paris, and author of Civil Rights Baby: My Story of Race, Sports, and Breaking Barriers in American Journalism. She is well versed in the internal and external impact that voting and elections have on the Black community and continue to prevail today.
