With the Department of Psychology, Health, and Gender, the MCGC center is happy to co-sponsor the book launch of Global Perspectives on Cultural Politics in Indigenous Psychology, edited by Zed Gao and Maria Medved. The book brings together scholars from five continents to examine the relationship between culture and politics in Indigenous psychology. The volume explores questions of colonization, globalization, power, resistance, and the ways psychological knowledge is shaped by local cultural and political contexts.
