This two-day excursion–focusing on France's cultural and historical museums in the periphery–takes us to the lively port city of Marseille. The highlight of the trip is an extended visit of one of France's newest museums, the architecturally spectacular MUCEM, the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, which now houses the collection of the former National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions.
