Get Started for Staff

Your AUP NetID is your unique university account and provides access to essential digital services. Staff typically have a NetID beginning with the first letter of their first name followed by their last name. Every staff also receives an AUP email account, which is used for official university communications and should be checked daily. Automatic forwarding to external email accounts is not permitted.

AUP provides campus-wide Wi-Fi for laptops, smartphones, and other devices. Staff should connect exclusively to eduroam. Personal devices can be set up for eduroam by following the online instructions—even before arriving on campus.

MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring both your password and a second form of authentication, such as a code or Microsoft Authenticator. To get started, have your computer and mobile phone nearby and click on the link below to know how to set up MFA and when to use it.

AUP provides campus-wide printing through PaperCut and the centralized AUPrint queue. Secure badge-based release allows users to send and collect print jobs at campus printers. Staff can also print from personal devices using Web Print or Mobility Print, depending on device compatibility.
