As part of our annual Sexual Aggression Awareness Month, please join us for a special evening viewing the 2015 groundbreaking documentary, The Hunting Ground, about sexual assault on U.S. college campuses. It will be followed by a discussion moderated by a psychologist.
This documentary is an exposé of rape crimes on U.S. college campuses, their institutional cover-ups, and the devastating toll they take on students and their families. The film was released on February 27, 2015, and Lady Gaga recorded an original song, "Til It Happens to You," for the film.
Please remember that about 1 in 4 women and 1 in 11 men are sexually assaulted during their college career. Fifty percent of college sexual assaults are associated with alcohol use. Prevention is possible through awareness and education. We are all concerned. We all need each other to put an end to this.
