Navigating Academia While Unapologetically Black
Wednesday, November 25, 2020 - 18:00 to 19:45
Student-led club, Black and Abroad welcomes Dr. Nikita Harris, a Communications Studies Professor at the University of Alabama. Dr. Harris will share her experiences and realities as a Black professor inside and outside the classroom. Her talk on "Navigating Academia While Unapologetically Black" will address how education, especially higher education, is deeply rooted in racist theories and practices. We invite all of AUP to join in this conversation.
