French Cheese 101: Monks, Mold, and More!

The AUP community is invited to join a guided cheese-tasting with our alumna host, Emily Monaco G'09, who will make you feel like you’re back in France as you embark on an experience complete with historical anecdotes of scandalous monks, star-crossed lovers, and more.

All proceeds from this event will be donated toward supporting AUP student scholarships. Tickets priced at 30€ are now available on AUP Global!

Attendees will receive a Zoom link and a shopping list of cheeses to purchase, including a modified list with cheese available in US grocery stores.

About the host

Emily Monaco G’09, the daughter of an ACP alum, has been based in Paris for over a decade, where she lives, breathes, and writes about cheese.

She has previously written for publications including the BBC, the Wall Street Journal, EatingWell, and Saveur, exploring everything from 
cheese made in ancestral volcanoes to the cheese so complicated only four people are making it to the end of a centuries-old cheese tradition.
