During the past few weeks, the SGA has been working tirelessly to stress the importance of voting and participating in the Democratic process.
Last night, the SGA and the Debate and Politics Club collaborated to host a debate on the 2016 Presidential Elections, which was moderated by Professor Peter Hägel. Three students were chosen to represent both the Democratic and the Republican side, debating issues such as domestic policy, race relations, gun reform, healthcare reform and international relations.
At the end of the debate, all students, no matter their nationality were invited to cast their vote in the Mock Elections.
