AUP Alumni Association – Regional Alumni Chapters and Affinity Groups
From Los Angeles to Paris to Auckland, the AUP Alumni Association supports chapters and affinity groups spanning the globe.
Our volunteer-driven chapters and groups offer a variety of events – networking, educational, cultural, and more. We hope you'll join us at an event near you!
What Is an Alumni Chapter, and what is an Affinity Group?
A regional Alumni Chapter represents AUP alumni within a specific geographic area, while affinity groups connect alumni and former students worldwide through shared identities, interests, and experiences.
Chapters and affinity groups and their activities are open to all AUP alumni—no membership is required. This includes degree holders, study abroad and exchange students, certificate program participants, summer program attendees, and auditors.
Chapters and groups are led by alumni volunteers who organize events to build communities, foster meaningful connections, and strengthen alumni ties among one another and with AUP.

Want to connect with fellow alumni in your area? You can find a listing of current Regional Alumni Chapters and groups on AUP Global, the online portal for AUP alumni. To view most group activity, you’ll need to activate your AUP Global account and be logged in. Join a group to ensure you receive their events and updates.

No chapter in your area? We can support you in planning an event locally and help determine if it makes sense.

- Review chapter leadership structures, roles and requirements
- If starting an official chapter in your area is possible, AUP staff will support and guide you in planning an event to help build momentum and gauge interest.
- After the event, we’ll debrief on what the next steps should be.
