Intune is cloud-based service by Microsoft, the we use at AUP to manage windows computers on campus. With Intune, we enforce security policies, deploy applications, manage updates, and ensure compliance , enhancing productivity while safeguarding sensitive university data. 

JAMF

At AUP, we use JAMF Pro and JAMF Protect as components of our IT infrastructure. JAMF Pro serves as a management solution for Apple devices within our predominantly Windows environment.

The adoption of JAMF Pro is to provide easy and secure management for our Apple device ecosystem. As Apple devices become increasingly prevalent within our institution, the need for efficient management tools has grown. JAMF Pro offers device management capabilities, allowing deployment, configuration, security, and ongoing maintenance and enforcing security policies and managing updates.

Additionally, it facilitates remote troubleshooting, inventory management, and compliance monitoring, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
