Pike's spirited rendition of Pitt's speeches in Parliament is a revelation. One is made aware of another point of view, much more nuanced than popular assumptions about the revolt in the colonies. Informative, interesting and amusing --a wonderful combination. Should Pike decide to leave academia, he would make a fine actor."
