Do you wish you could understand French and start to feel comfortable conversing with your fellow Parisians? Here at AUP, the French Department, the Student Leadership Office and Le French Club have come together to offer you a wide range of opportunities designed to help you learn French.

All semester, of-campus: Volunteer with Les Petits Frères des Pauvres. Help reach out to islolated and lonley elderly people in Paris by visiting them at their homes and local community centres. This is a fantastic way to improve your French, learn the culture codes, and to give to those in need. For more information contact jgewolbataup.edu.

Oct 18, off-campus: Lost in French Translation will be screening a film showing of DIVINES with English subtitles, at 8pm at the Cinema Studio 28, 10 Rue Tholoze, 75018. There is a film-themed cocktail available from 8pm (€4.50); screening starts at 9:15. Tickets are €9 full price; €7.50 for students and other concessions. For more information, click here.
