
Pierre André was an FNRS Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hoover chair of economic and social ethics at UCLouvain (Belgium) and a Field of Excellence Climate Change Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Graz (Austria). Prior to focusing on research and teaching, he had several work experiences in renewable energy finance and environmental policy analysis.
He is interested in environmental ethics, environmental political philosophy, and economic ethics. His research focuses on climate justice and the ethics of carbon taxation. His work appears in several peer-reviewed international journals such as Political Studies and the Journal of Applied Philosophy and he is the co-author, with Axel Gosseries, of a book titled La justice climatique.
