This excursion to the lively Mediterranean port city of Marseille focuses on France’s cultural and historical museums “in the periphery.” The highlight of the trip is an extended visit of one of France’s newest national museums, the architecturally spectacular MUCEM, the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, which now houses the collection of the former National Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions. We also visit the Marseille History Museum, tour “Le Panier” district and old port, and take a boat trip to see the stunning rugged coast line and les calanques inlets before visiting the island of If.

Last day to register/cancel: January 24

Late cancelation fee: €345

Payment for study trips must be made no later than February 1 for the Spring 2016 semester. Any concerns in this regard should be addressed to the Cultural Program & Student Accounting Services.
