To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Irving Penn, one of the greatest Photographers of the 20th century, the Grand Palais, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and The Irving Penn Foundation have curated and organized the exhibition to celebrate his talent. Characterised by his snapshots' elegant simplicity and being able to create a sort of intimacy in each of his portraits with his models, allowed him to capture famous people such as Pablo Picasso, Yves Saint Laurent, Audrey Hepburn, Alfred Hitchcock, etc.

Ticket Prices and Dates:
This Exhibition runs from the 21 September 2017 - 29 January 2018 at the Grand Palais, Galeries Nationales. 
Ticket costs are 9€ for students aged 16-25, and 13€ regular price.

Schedule:

  • Daily from 10h - 20h, except Tuesdays (closed).
  • Wednesdays until 22h.
  • Closed 25th of December 2017.
  • * 7th of October: Part of the Nuit Blanche des Musees, free entry from 20h - 00h
