CAF Workshop #4

C-102 | Combes building
Wednesday, September 26, 2018 - 14:00 to 15:00

If you wish, you may now sign up for the CAF (Caisse d’Allocation Familiale) which is a French subsidy to help you with your rent. You can receive money every month from the CAF.

PLEASE NOTE: Students visiting for only one semester and homestay students cannot request the CAF. Students who live in independent housing (not Comforts of Home) need to ask their landlord if they can apply for the CAF. Your landlord will be asked to fill out documentation in order for you to get the CAF so if they don’t want to do it, there is no point in applying.

What to bring?

  • A laptop
  • A copy of your lease or an attestation de loyer (if you are with Comforts of Home, you can request one from them 48h before the day of the workshop)
  • A RIB from the Bank (With your bank information IBAN, BIC, etc)

If you don’t bring these documents, you won’t be able to apply.

If you’ve already applied to the CAF and have a question, please get back to us by email as these workshops only concerns CAF’s first applicants.
