Roaches is recruiting

Roaches' editorial board would like to invite you to an informational session to introduce you to its platform, discuss potential content, and inspire future writers. We are seeking students experienced with graphic design to contribute to the construction of the journal's layout as well as students interested in PR and Marketing positions.

Last semester, the Gender, Sexuality, and Society (GSS) program launched a radical theoretical and political publication at AUP titled Roaches. Inspired by Audre Lorde’s poem “The Brown Menace” or alternatively, “a Poem to the Survival of Roaches”, our new platform is nothing like any current AUP publication. It is a militant zine that connects radical queer, feminist, and race theory with creative activist projects. Through writing, academic and creative, through art, and through performance we provide an inclusive platform for peripheral voices to speak on gender, race and LGBTQ+ issues in the AUP Community, the city of Paris, and beyond.
